PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of Mt. Olympus Improvement District, Salt Lake County, Utah, that an election will be held on:
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025
FOR THE ELECTION OF TWO (2) TRUSTEES TO THE BOARD OF SAID DISTRICT.
Each person seeking to become a candidate for this elective office shall file a Declaration of Candidacy form in person with the District Clerk (3932 South 500 East). The Trustee will be elected for a four-year term to be voted on in the 2025 Municipal General Election. The filing period is from Monday, June 2, 2025 through Monday, June 9, 2025 during normal office hours (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and not later than 5:30 p.m. on the last day of filing (17B-1-306). The District Clerk will also be available to accept Declaration of Candidacy forms on Friday, June 5 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Conflict-of-Interest Form is also required at the time of filing (17B-1-306.1) (attached).
Candidate qualifications are:
- Be a U.S. Citizen at time of filing.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be a Resident of the Special District.
- Be a Registered voter at the residence within the Special District.
